Mr. Jay Agular, A"H
Jay (Yosef Eliyahu) Agular A"H was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and member of the Oceanside Community. His commitment to his family and community was unwavering, yet private; genuine yet unpretentious. In his humility, he always looked to grow in Torah, tefilah, and bein adam lichaveiro. His tefillos, privately and as a chazzan ( with his beautiful voice) were so beautiful, especially on the yamim noraim.
He wanted all those who hadn't learned to learn together with him, and no matter what he had already learned and accomplished he always felt and made others feel that they were equal. Therefore, upon completing Daf Yomi, he looked for a chavrusha with less background than him to learn with. Unfortunately, he passed away before they were able to mesayem.
We, his family, would like to thank the Yeshiva of South Shore for letting us share a drop of our husband, father, son, brother, and Zaidy.
